We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our expanding product data science team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data science models and deploying pipelines that enable scalable solutions. Your role involves close collaboration with development and commercial teams to enhance advertising trading recommendations and improve operational efficiency. You will have the opportunity to influence best practices and contribute to impactful projects. Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into comprehensive data science solutions and manage end-to-end development pipelines

• Take full ownership of data science development across various product features and modules

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and commercial stakeholders during the development lifecycle

• Identify and research machine learning features with business impact and convert them into product functionalities

• Evaluate risks and maintain a long-term focus on product quality and performance, proposing enhancements as required

• Communicate proactively with project managers and stakeholders, resolving technical challenges efficiently

• Support the team lead by recommending code and feature optimizations to reduce processing and storage expenses

• Consider compute and storage costs during code reviews for peers

• Ensure consistency in logic standards within the product and adhere to agile methodologies

• Assist the team lead in onboarding and mentoring new team members on technical skills

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science projects

• Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, including clustering, regression, classification, and deep learning

• Experience using Databricks or similar notebook environments

• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for processing large-scale datasets

• Advanced skills in SQL and intermediate proficiency in Excel

• Ability to translate business needs and product requirements into effective data science solutions

• Experience in exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering in big data environments

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms for developing and deploying data pipelines and machine learning models

• Experience with natural language processing applications

• Knowledge of generative AI applications

• Exposure to machine learning operations (MLOps)

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
