As a Salesforce Solution Architect at EPAM Salesforce Practice you will have an opportunity to work closely with business, gather business requirements, get root business needs, design and communicate a solution, breakdown features and estimate them.

You will document the architectural design, lead a development process, and track changing requirements. Our Salesforce team is spread out in multiple locations. We are using Agile methodologies and delivery innovative solutions based on industry and technology best practices. We work with different industries and delivery Salesforce solutions for retail, media, healthcare, finance, information services, and other industries.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring quality and timely delivery

• Communicate with business partners to understand and define requirements, delivering efficient and innovative solutions

• Collaborate with various technology teams, including Architecture, Development, Testing, and others, to define scalable, sustainable, and elegant technical solutions leveraging Salesforce technologies

• Lead the development team in designing and implementing solutions aligned with standards, best practices, and quality assurance techniques

• Establish and enhance development standards and processes

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of functionalities and solution architecture

• Deliver detailed technical designs, which include POC/MVP, prototyping, and comprehensive documentation throughout the SDLC process

• Build strong, effective relationships with key business and technology stakeholders

• Address and resolve defects identified in planned releases or production environments

• Support Salesforce platform management activities, including app evaluations, profile and organizational hierarchy design, system integration, capacity planning, and SLA metrics definition

• Promote and enable best practices, governance protocols, and solution patterns for customizations and configurations on Salesforce platforms

Requirements

• Over 8 years of combined IT experience

• At least 2 years of architecture experience across various Salesforce clouds, such as Sales, Service, and Digital Experience

• Over 3 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, LWC, Aura, and Automations

• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies, including clouds, offerings, custom development, integration, and patterns

• Strong hands-on expertise in the software development life cycle

• Active Salesforce certifications, with Application and System Architect certifications being strongly preferred

• Proficiency in web development is a plus

• Knowledge of and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks is a plus

• Knowledge of data integration tools and background in integrating Salesforce with business systems such as ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, and reporting (strongly preferred)

• Experience with Agile development methods and practices

• Flexibility to foster new ideas and concepts

• Capability to mentor and coach team members

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across functions in dynamic environments, both as part of a team or individually

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills tailored for client-facing engagement

• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher
