As a Senior Consultant you will focus on the delivery of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating personal accountability for keeping performance on track, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills and contributing to the priorities of the team, and clients. You will commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services.

As a member of the Tax team, you will deal with tax matters such as:

• Maintenance of double-entry accounting books according to Greek GAAP (ELP)

• Preparation and submission of VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other declarations.

• Management of myDATA compliance and obligations.

• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Greek GAAP and/or IFRS.

• Participation in external outsourcing and reporting projects.

• Support in implementing automation tools and optimizing accounting procedures.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any related field.

• Relevant work experience of 5+ years in an organized accounting department or accounting firm.

• Excellent knowledge of Greek tax legislation and Greek GAAP.

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and experience working with accounting ERPs.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Master's Degree (M.Sc. or MBA) in Accounting, Finance & Taxation, Economics, Business Administration will be considered an asset.

• Experience in outsourcing services, management reporting, and tax compliance.

• Knowledge of IFRS standards.

• Familiarity with automation tools.

• Ability to work in a data-driven environment using technological solutions.
