senior consultant / assistant manager with cost controlling background

We are currently seeking for ambitious team players with exceptional analytical skills and a well-rounded personality to become part of our dynamic Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory function in our offices in Athens.

 As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Monitor and analyze revenues/ costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions for clients’ projects.

• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for clients, assess budget accuracy and perform revisions of the budget.

• Develop and implement cost control procedures and processes for clients and run cost controlling exercises.

• Provide financial management advice to clients.

• Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial reports.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure objectives are met.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Produce a high-quality work product and collaborate with others to deliver a superior client experience.

• Manage own work in an ethical manner with a meticulous attention to quality and detail.

• Monitor own results against objectives and seek feedback to identify ways to enhance quality and personal/team performance.

• Seek challenges, and opportunities to build on own and teams’ strengths, develop new capabilities, and learn from and share with others.

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience in budgeting, controlling, treasury departments

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration from a prominent University would be considered a strong asset.

• Professional Qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, or similar) will be considered a strong asset.

• Very good knowledge of Financial Modeling in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of VBA) will be considered a strong asset.

• Familiarity with energy landscape/market would be considered a plus.

• Strong knowledge of cost controlling, budgeting, reporting, accounting principles and financial analysis

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Greek languages

• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment

• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
