You will be part of Deloitte’s Infrastructure & Capital Projects team, supporting clients in the public and infrastructure sectors. Our team works on large-scale and complex construction and infrastructure programs, covering all phases of the project lifecycle – from strategy and planning through design, construction, and delivery.

#AboutYourRole

As a Project Steering Professional, you will support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects for our clients.

You will play a key role in ensuring transparency across projects, coordinating stakeholders, and enabling informed decision-making to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting project steering activities across all project phases, including cost, schedule, and performance tracking

• Contributing to change and decision management processes and maintaining structured, transparent reporting

• Coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across all project participants

• Managing interfaces between project teams, clients, and additional stakeholders

• Supporting the development and application of project management methods, standards, and processes

• Providing advisory and support services based on your project experience, helping to continuously improve project delivery

#OurRequirements

Required qualifications:

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a comparable field

• At least 3 years of experience in project management, project steering, or construction management, ideally within complex construction or infrastructure projects

• Solid understanding of project management processes and the delivery of construction projects across different phases

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented way of working

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders

• Fluent in German & English

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in common project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) and Microsoft Office

• Openness to new technologies and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and digital environments

Additional requirements:

• Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as required
