We are looking for an experienced professional with knowledge of the innovation ecosystem in Greece to join our Innovation Team. As part of a team, you will be working with the whole spectrum of the innovation ecosystem, i.e. StartUp and ScaleUp companies, investors, as well as large corporates with an active interest on innovative companies. You will partner with the Head of Innovation to support the outreach strategy as well as to work on advisory projects related to fundraising, transaction target identification, M&A and various other assignments for different companies and sectors. You will commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services.

During your tenure, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Identify new and build on existing relationships with innovative companies and the investor community.

• Analyze and explain historical and projected financial information and industry data to help clients make informed decisions.

• Prepare detailed presentations and marketing material (such as Teasers, pitch decks, etc.)

• Assist the preparation and execution of transactions, from initial analysis of information to transaction strategy development and execution.

• Collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data using standard tools and data visualizations to help surface insights.

• Work with colleagues from across Deloitte functions to provide clients with a coherent overview of the business operations, performance gaps and the potential for scaleup.

#WinningRequirements

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field

• Relevant work experience (up to 3 years) in M&A Advisory, Fund Raising, Transaction Support, etc., preferably within a major International professional services firm (Big-4 or other), an investment bank or a fund in Greece or abroad, would be considered as an asset but not mandatory

• Good knowledge of Financial Modeling in Microsoft Excel will be considered a strong asset

• Excellent command of the Greek & English language

• Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills

• Military obligation fulfilled, where applicable
  
  

Preferred skills:

• Postgraduate Degree (MSc. or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration from a prominent University

• Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office

• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
