As a Senior Consultant in our Strategy Risk & Transactions Advisory department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial institutions in identifying, assessing, and managing risks that may impact their business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver value-added insights.

The department delivers the following services:

• Regulatory expertise and advisory — translating complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic choices and roadmaps (prudential, conduct, KYC remediation and control effectiveness).

• Data, reporting and technical delivery — end‑to‑end “data‑to‑report” delivery: statistical and regulatory reporting, CDO‑level services, data governance, remediation and model/data control frameworks; statutory and market reporting (e.g. MiFIR) and embedding reporting across business units.

• Credit and prudential transformation — supporting credit risk transformation across the value chain, from data models and scoring to reporting and governance, ensuring prudential compliance and fit‑for‑purpose controls.

• Sustainability and ESG — implementing sustainability reporting frameworks (CSRD‑style), integrating ESG data into risk and reporting processes and aligning sustainability with data architecture.

• Innovation and AI — developing GenAI and knowledge‑graph approaches to automate routine work, boost insight and accelerate reporting and advisory activities.

Key Qualifications

• Experience – A minimum of two – three years’ experience within financial services or consultancy, specializing in regulatory compliance, including non-financial regulatory topics.

• Regulatory knowledge – Solid understanding of financial‑services regulation and non‑financial regulatory topics relevant to the role (for example prudential, conduct, AML/CTF, GDPR/data privacy, market conduct); experience applying regulatory requirements in a banking or financial‑services context.

• Risk assessment & control testing –  Practical experience with risk assessments and control testing is desirable. Able to translate regulatory obligations into pragmatic internal controls and governance artefacts.

• Collaboration & communication – Strong interpersonal and communicative skills and professional demeanor, able to build effective relationships, with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

• Analytical & critical thinking — Excellent analytical skills and critical‑thinking capability; able to analyse complex regulatory requirements, interpret their operational impact and recommend pragmatic solutions.

• Project delivery & ownership – A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of project deliverables.

• Language – Excellent written and spoken English.
