Your role as a Data Science Senior Consultant will focus on leading the delivery of client engagements, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for own and team results to meet client expectations and project’s desired outcomes.

In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as a Data Science Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

• Participate in large-scale Data Analytics Programs working in international environments;

• Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced analytics models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges;

• Collaborate in designing data-driven solutions and strategies that support the client’s business goals, effectively presenting insights and trends to stakeholders;

• Support the analysis, exploration, transformation and interpretation of data to uncover actionable insights, focusing on enhancing data quality and building reliable models;

• Provide guidance to colleagues and clients on data science methodologies, best practices, and the effective use of analytical tools;

• Participate in research and development activities to explore new techniques and improve the firm’s data science offerings;

• Assist in delivering presentations and briefings to clients, showcasing analytical results and model outcomes.  

OUR REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field;

• Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related subject is a plus;

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in data analytics, engineering or related fields;

• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense);

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL and experience in data manipulation libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc;

• Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop;

• Experience with cloud data engineering services (e.g., Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, etc) and ETL/ELT paradigms;

• Knowledge of ML algorithms, techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning), and frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch;

• Understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and business intelligence systems;

• Experience in LLMs and Gen AI solutions will be considered a plus;

• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking;

• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English;

• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
