Our Cyber Strategy & Transformation team sits within Cyber and Technology & Transformation, one of the fastest growing practices in Deloitte.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Fraud Analyst to join our Fraud Prevention & Detection team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating fraudulent activities across digital channels. You will be responsible for monitoring transactional data, managing fraud alerts, and proactively developing strategies to prevent emerging fraud threats.

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps tailored to client business needs.

• Develop fraud management strategies and identify fraud prevention and detection controls.

• Support the development of security policies, controls, standards, and awareness programs.

• Analyze potentially fraudulent transactions to identify patterns, behaviors, and anomalies.

• Investigate and triage alerts generated by anti-fraud systems, determining whether they are false positives or confirmed fraud incidents.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and deep dives into fraudulent events to uncover tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by fraudsters.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT security, compliance, customer service, and product teams) to enhance fraud prevention strategies.

• Continuously monitor fraud trends and emerging threats in the cybercrime ecosystem.

• Propose and implement rule updates and enhancements to fraud detection systems based on new attack vectors.

• Advise clients on cyber risk management, governance models, and operating models.

• ·       Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity posture and fraud detection and prevention controls, ensuring visibility and alignment at both operational and executive levels.

• Produce accurate and timely reports to support internal stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and audit processes.

Key Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Criminology or related fields.

• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to details and a proactive, risk-focused mindset.

• Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to present results effectively to cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in fraud prevention or cybersecurity fields.

• Experience with Python, PowerBI or similar tools will be considered a plus.

• Experience with fraud prevention and detection platforms.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fraud.
