Role description

Dcontrol, seeks for a new member to further expand engineering team. This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer. The right candidate will be an a Mid/Senior Automation Engineer with proven experience in marine automation industry, energy telemetry applications and PLC programming. Enthusiastic with new technologies, PLC systems, advanced marine automation systems, industry 4.0, and IoT technologies. Willing to learn and share knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of our engineering team in design, develop and deliver automation projects

• Design Automation/Power systems in maritime industry

• Develop PLC Programs (Schneider Electric, Codesys, SoMachine)

• Design solutions with Industrial Communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT)

• Retrofit of Aged Automation Panels and Design of New, including PLC, HMI

• Troubleshooting automation systems and provide solution and guidance to customer

• Close collaborate with other engineers, contractors and client to deliver integrated solutions

• Commission and Start-up in customer's site when needed

• Prepare comprehensive documentation which includes design specs, automation architectures, drawings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (AEI, TEI)

• Professional Experience in the automation field of 5-10 years

• Fluent in English both written and verbal

• Excellent knowledge in PLC programming using Codesys, Schneider Electric platforms

• Experience with Communication Protocols and Field-buses (Modbus, NMEA0183)

• Solid Background in Automation techniques and Industrial Networks (Ethernet, RS485)

• Experience in designing and implementing industrial/marine Automation and Power systems

• Ability to work in large scale projects and combine various technologies

• Ability to adapt in industrial/marine environment
