At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are looking for a high-performing Portfolio Development and Lifecycle Management Officer who will support the development of the new products for the in-house R&D pipeline of the company. This position is based in Athens, Kryoneri.

This role reports to the corresponding Manager of Portfolio Development and Lifecycle Management.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the evaluation and selection of new products for development, including patent reviews, technical evaluations, commercial assessments, competitive landscape assessment, Costs of Goods (CoGs), development costs,  and other potential factors which may impact the overall development process.

  • Prepares the Business Development Report for a candidate product for in-house development.

  • Runs thorough research of the best API vendors according to company's selection criteria in terms of quality and cost attributes.

  • Supports administratively in PO placement for new APIs and any other materials required for the initiation of development activities.

  • Liaison role between the R&D team and other Departments of the company and the API vendor for any technical issues that may arise.

  • Works alongside cross-functional teams (mainly Procurement, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Production).

  • Monitors the progress of the project as per the set timelines.

  • Schedules and participates in meetings and reporting project statuses.

  • Participates in the launch procedure of new products of his/her responsibility.

Requirements

  • Academic background in life sciences.

  • MBA and/or experience with the generic product development process will be considered as a strong plus.

  • Good understanding of the generic development and commercialization process

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
