software quality assurance (qa) engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and execute automated test cases using tools such as Katalon, ReadyAPI, Postman, Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans.

• Work with existing automation frameworks and extend common modules to support multiple Agile teams.

• Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Ensure test execution, defect logging and reporting are integrated into Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define detailed test plans aligned with project goals and Agile delivery timelines.

• Create and maintain accurate test documentation, including test plans, test cases and test reports.

• Act as the QA point of contact for the Agile teams, actively participating in ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives).

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, decision-making ability and initiative in driving quality within teams.

• Identify, document and report software defects, tracking them through resolution and verifying fixes.

• Ensure software applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance and reliability.

• Contribute to process improvements and testing methodologies, sharing best practices across QA and Agile teams.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related studies.

• 2-3 years of working experience in testing.

• Proficiency in preparing test scenarios and test cases.​

• Experience using DevOps tools for issue tracking during the UAT phase.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.​​​

• Fluent in English; verbal and written.

• Competencies.

• Problem-solving ability and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Ability to work under pressure.
