The Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at our client’s, your primary focus is to ensure system resiliency and reliability in accordance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. You will use automation to guarantee high availability and disaster recovery within the designated RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective). Security is your top priority, and you’ll establish processes to satisfy regulatory obligations. Monitoring, observability, and incident response are integral parts of your role.

• Build products that directly impact nearly everyone who shops online in Greece.

• Research and develop new features that help merchants and marketplaces grow.

Your Profile

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineer at a product-driven company.
• Working knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud providers (Azure, GCP) is preferred.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Familiarity with SaltStack (or related configuration management tools).
• Solid Linux skills, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing).
• Experience with NGINX or Apache, as well as load balancers like HAProxy.
• Proficient in Python and Bash.
• Experience working with containers (Docker) and interested in container orchestration (EKS/ECS).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation (preferably with GitHub Actions).
• Analytical mindset and diligent approach to monitoring and debugging systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with CDNs (CloudFront, Cloudflare).
• Interest in cloud security, resiliency, and performance optimization.
• Participation in on-call rotations or experience with incident management.
