Role Overview:

The Senior UX Researcher leads complex research initiatives, influencing product strategy and driving innovation. This role is pivotal in advancing user understanding across the organization and delivering actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute comprehensive research plans aligned with business objectives.
● Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring research impact.
● Plan and conduct research using a variety of methods including observation sessions, user interviews, usability tests, and surveys.
● Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate research findings into actionable design items that align with business objectives.
● Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and present them to stakeholders, advocating for user needs and driving insights into long-term product decisions.
● Advocate for user needs across the organization, promoting a culture of user-centricity.
● Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve their research processes and deliverables.
● They could be a bit more inclusive yet specific. E.g. “Utilize advanced analytics tools like
Google Analytics, Hotjar, Fullstory, etc. to enhance research outcomes (they use Fullstory).
● Enhance and maintain efficient processes for managing and utilizing user feedback repositories, ensuring data is accessible and actionable for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

● 6+ years of UX research experience, with a strong track record of impactful contributions.
● Expertise in a variety of research methods, including observational studies and data-driven analysis.
● Proficiency in analytics tools and their application in UX research.
● Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
● Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Exceptional analytical, presentation, and storytelling abilities to communicate research findings to diverse audiences effectively.
● Proficiency in integrating research insights into product strategy.
● Familiarity with agile workflows (especially Scrum) and experience with project management tools such as Jira.
