What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Participation in the entire design and development cycle of state-of-the-art fixed-wing small and tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for defense and security applications, including certification.
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) of unmanned aircraft systems and their subsystems.
• Physical, logical, functional architecture design and modeling.
• Working with cross functional teams for the analysis, definition, allocation and traceability of system requirements and architectures.
• Coordination of design and development activities over the complete system engineering lifecycle.
• Preparation of system documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Aeronautical/Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• More than three (3) years of systems engineering experience (in architecture and design, requirements, documentation, CONOPS, integration and verification).
• Experience in human factors engineering
• Understanding of wireless communication systems and networking
• Familiarity with electrical power distribution and lightning protection

Desired:

• Experience with engineering requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS.
• Experience modeling complex systems using MBSE SysML tools.
• Familiarity with hazard analysis and safety assessment processes and standards, e.g. ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, ISO 26262, IEC 61508.
• Familiarity with Reliability, Availability and Maintainability engineering guidelines and analyses.
