The company is currently in a transition phase, implementing new technologies (Spring Boot, microservices architecture), and is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join their team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will maintain and enhance our current backend systems, built on Java 17 and JEE8 with Payara 5, while actively contributing to our progressive transition to Java >21,Spring Boot, and Rancher.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Java 17, JEE8, and Payara 5.
• Support and lead the transition to Java >21 with Spring Boot and containerized solutions using Rancher.
• Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, primarily with Java.
• Proficiency in JEE8 and application servers like Payara.
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and container orchestration tools like Rancher.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
