As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team of 10 professionals, contributing to the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of advanced FinTech solutions. The role combines strong technical expertise with problem-solving ability and offers exposure to large-scale, international projects.

You will actively collaborate with business analysts, architects, and fellow engineers, taking ownership of delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality software components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and modules for global FinTech projects.

• Participate in business analysis and transform complex requirements into functional use cases and user stories.

• Collaborate closely with the development team, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Implement and optimize database queries, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure flawless software operation.

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and optimization for quality assurance.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by researching emerging technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in Java development.

• Proven professional development experience using JAVA/JEE, Quarkus, JPA, Eclipse, SVN, Maven technologies.

• Knowledge of Front-End technologies (React, HTML/5, Javascript, CSS/Less, JSP, JQuery).

• Web Services Development (REST, SOAP).

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).

• Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control systems (Git).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multinational environment.

• Experience in the Banking/FinTech domain.
