senior analog hardware design engineer

Our client is currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious Senior Analog Hardware Design Engineer to join the Hardware Digital, Analogue & Power Systems Design Section of their Products Development Department.

Responsibilities

• Hardware design and development of state-of-the-art Analog & Power Electronics circuits. The successful candidate will participate in the complete hardware development cycle from system & board design to documented release, prototype testing and evaluation.
• Integration, testing, verification and documentation.
• Preparation of: Firmware-Hardware Specifications in collaboration with the Embedded Software Engineers to meet product requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s/University’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least five (5) years of proven working experience in Hardware Design & Development.
• Proven experience in analog electronics design, integration testing & evaluation.
• Familiarity with topologies for: DC/DC & AC/DC converters, low power analog electronics.

Familiarity with power systems modelling & simulation (MATLAB, P-SPICE/LT-SPICE).

• Familiarity with design principles for EMI/EMC compliance, testing & troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PCB CAD processes.
• Fluent use of English language.
• Fulfilled military obligations is an asset.

Desired:

• Post-graduate Degree (MSc, PhD) on Hardware design and development will be considered an asset.
• Good knowledge of using Spectrum Analyzers, Audio Analyzers.
• Familiarity with PCB CAD Mentor Graphics PADS/Xpedition.
• Familiarity with digital designs & microcontroller designs.
