java software engineer

This role is ideal for a backend engineer passionate about Java, cloud integration, and data workflows, with motivation to grow further in Azure Data Factory and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend integrations using Java & Spring

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory

• Integrate APIs, external systems, and data sources into ADF workflows

• Collaborate with cloud architects and data engineers on ETL/ELT solutions

• Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and well-documented

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, Agile ceremonies & code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java / Spring Cloud backend development

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON & integration patterns

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (or strong willingness to learn)

• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD platforms

• (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

• Solid understanding of cloud security principles

 Nice-to-Have Skills (not mandatory — a plus)

• Experience with Azure services: Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Functions

• Exposure to data engineering tools (Databricks, Synapse, Power BI)

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus)

• Azure certifications (DP-203, AZ-900, AZ-104)

• Agile/Scrum project experience (Jira, Confluence)
