java software engineer (all levels)

The role of the Software Engineer primarily entails the provision of services related to the development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software solutions, coupled with expertise in business processes, as well as the collection and formal documentation of requirements.

Reporting to: Software Development Director

What Will You Need to Do: 

• Develop cutting-edge components and modules for their software solutions in global projects, following department’s guidelines.
• Conduct & manage business analysis & design of their solutions.
• Participate in clients’ analysis sessions, identify client’s needs, analyses complex business problems that meets the needs of the client and transform them into functional use cases and user stories.
• Collaborates with internal team, as well as subcontractors
• Ensure the code (either produced internally, or by subcontractors) meets industry standards, is valid, well-structured, and compatible with various browsers, devices, and operating systems and complies with projects’ requirements .
• Conduct comprehensive tests to confirm the flawless operation of the programs.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects, applying your problem-solving skills to enhance the designated application code.
• Collaborate with and support the Services team, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results.
• Create business diagram flows.
• Conduct product documentation & manuals.
• Build QA Test case scenarios and audits the quality of coding and functionalities, proposes and implements improvements.

What Will You Bring:

• 3-5+ years of professional development experience
• Experience in Java/ Springboot & React, and also in using Git and containers.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres)
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
• A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment with constant cooperation and interaction.
• Strong experience with business process modelling.
