Due to its expansion, our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented SYSTEM ENGINEER in the area of Athens.

#yourmission

• Perform structured cabling (Ethernet and fiber optics) for network and system
  interconnectivity.

• Configure connection settings on LINUX servers and Windows terminals; occasionally
  on firewalls, switches, and VPN devices.

• Implement and validate VLAN segmentation for secure and efficient network traffic
  management.

• Configure firewall rules and policies, including service/port access control.

• Set up and troubleshoot switch configurations.

• Implement network routing strategies to ensure optimal data flow.

• Configure and test high-availability clusters using Pacemaker.

#yourprofile

• Network knowledge and management (routing, switches, VPN, firewalls and network
  security)

• Knowledge and handling of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)

• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time

• Basic knowledge of database systems and administration tasks

• Previous experience with firewall administration and policies (especially Fortinet) would
  be considered as an asset

• Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and server
  management

• Can use Bash scripts for automation and infrastructure management

• Very good communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Team player, ability to collaborate effectively in an international multicultural
  environment
