Our client, has over 25 years of experience in delivering innovative solutions to the financial sector. They serve clients in over 30 countries, helping banks and other financial institutions manage credit and loans effectively while ensuring full regulatory compliance. Their advanced software leverages analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to support every stage of the credit and lending lifecycle, remaining at the forefront of fintech innovation.

We are looking for an IT Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside IT application support engineers and report directly to the IT and Application Support Manager.

As an IT Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the company’s Group IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring technology operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems;

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and networks;

  • Configure and manage enterprise systems (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls);

  • Manage and optimize cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS);

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices, monitor threats, and ensure data protection compliance;

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams on infrastructure and deployment needs.

  • Perform system upgrades, migrations, and patch management;

  • Develop automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and deployments;

  • Monitor system performance and provide capacity planning;

  • Document systems, procedures, and best practices;

  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field;

  • Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.) desirable;

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT engineering or a related role. Proven experience with enterprise-grade switches, routers, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet);

  • Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux environments;

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, firewalls);

  • Knowledge of SD-WAN and SASE principles & technologies;
