They are looking for a Business Analyst to join the IT team in Athens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting key IT transformation initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users, product owners, and IT teams to analyze, document, and refine business and technical requirements.
• Support ongoing IT transformation projects, including:
• Core system modernization to enhance insurance operations.
• Digital customer experience initiatives (web & mobile platforms).
• Automation and AI-driven solutions to optimize processes.
• Regulatory compliance and risk management projects.
• Develop functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.
• Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for new IT initiatives.
• Support testing, UAT, and training efforts to ensure system adoption.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and contribute to project planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of business processes in insurance (e.g., underwriting, claims, policy administration).
• Experience with IT project methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with core insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, SAP FS-CD, or similar) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with business process modeling (BPMN), SQL, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek & English.
