As Head of Innovation & Technology, you will lead our client’s transformation as the intersection of physical security and emerging technologies. You will build and manage their newly formed innovation unit, driving high-impact programs in AI, Robotics, Drones, and Computer Vision, and turn cutting-edge tools into human-centred, real-world solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovation Strategy and Leadership:

• Lead and structure our client’s innovation & technology solutions roadmap.

• Develop and present compelling technology business cases from strategic plans to execution.

• Identify high-potential technology opportunities aligned with our client’s business objectives and market positioning.

• Create, evaluate and develop new ideas with a focus on budget impact.

• Prioritise initiatives based on customer needs, ROI, and operational feasibility.

• Project Delivery and Execution:

• Drive the realisation of technical innovation projects from concept to field implementation.

• Establish clear milestones, manage project timelines, and oversee cost efficiency, budgets and success metrics.

• Identify business opportunities through innovative frameworks in the Greek tech sector and explore emerging technologies that can have a measurable business impact.

• Team and Partner Management:

• Lead and grow a small, agile innovation team (currently consisting of 2 direct reports).

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and departments, primarily Operations, IT, and Solutions.

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with external vendors and technology providers.

• Technical Integration:

• Ensure seamless interoperability between new technologies and existing systems.

• Transform technical capabilities into market-ready service offerings for security and adjacent industries.

• Evaluate and test AI/robotic platforms for frontline use cases.

Experience & Qualifications:

• BSc and Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience leading complex technology projects or programs with demonstrable business impact.

• Proven track record of delivering technology solutions from proof-of-concept to operational deployment.

• Background in Security, Robotics, Defence, or Technology Innovation is a plus.

• Technical expertise in areas such as Computer Vision, Mobile Platforms (robots/drones), LLMs and applied AI/ML.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical concepts to business outcomes.

• Fluent in Greek and English.
