About the Role

They are seeking a Golang Developer to join a cross-functional Scrum team spread across Europe, collaborating closely with analysts, backend and frontend engineers, product designers, and project leads.

The focus is on developing cloud-native services and solutions that support the healthcare domain — improving the experience and outcomes for end users and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong backend engineering skills, enjoys writing clean and scalable code, and thrives in an Agile, knowledge-sharing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand Golang-based backend services

• Design and develop new features based on functional and technical specifications

• Build integrations with external applications and systems

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code (TDD mindset is a plus)

• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum setup

• Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Apply and expand knowledge in the healthcare domain

Required Skills

• Strong working experience with Golang

• Experience with backend development and system integrations

• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC

• Experience with DevOps tools:

• Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar)

• Solid understanding of software design principles & design patterns

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams

Nice to Have (Not mandatory — a plus)

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Angular or Bootstrap

• Previous experience in healthcare systems

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (or motivation to learn)

• Understanding of application lifecycle management (Jira, Git, GKE, etc.)

• Experience working in Scrum teams
