Our Insurance project is one of the largest and most digitally progressive insurance providers in Greece, part of an international group with presence across Europe. The company is enhancing their AI capabilities through a chatbot solution already in production. They are now seeking a Generative AI Engineer to support the evolution of the system — from managing structured and unstructured data to developing intelligent features that can interpret, generate, and refine natural language outputs.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong data handling skills and a solid foundation in NLP or Generative AI techniques. This person will work with large volumes of both structured (e.g. databases, logs) and unstructured data (e.g. free text, user queries) and help improve the chatbot’s performance, reasoning capabilities, and response quality.
Key Responsibilities
Work with both structured and unstructured datasets to support AI and chatbot development.
Design and implement NLP pipelines and data preprocessing routines.
Collaborate with product teams to understand conversational goals and fine-tune response logic.
Explore and integrate Generative AI models (e.g. LLMs) for enhanced chatbot behavior.
Continuously evaluate and optimize chatbot responses based on real user input and logs.
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
2+ years of experience in AI/NLP/ML engineering roles.
Solid understanding of working with text data (tokenization, embeddings, sentiment, intent).
Proficient in Python and popular AI/ML frameworks (e.g. Hugging Face, spaCy, LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
Experience with data extraction, transformation, and modeling from both SQL and unstructured sources.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Cohere, Mistral, etc.) or fine-tuning/customization of foundation models.
Familiarity with vector databases, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), or prompt engineering.
Experience in chatbot frameworks (e.g. Rasa, Dialogflow) or custom conversational agent
