devops engineer

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain Generali’s on-premises infrastructure to meet scalability and security requirements.
• Automation: Implement automation tools and processes to improve system efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
• CI/CD Implementation: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure faster and more reliable deployments.
• System Monitoring: Develop and monitor dashboards for system performance, troubleshooting, and uptime optimization.
• Collaboration: Partner with development, operations, and security teams to enable continuous improvement and alignment with Generali’s technology goals.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies to identify opportunities for modernizing and enhancing Generali’s infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on on-premises cloud environments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
