Role & Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of Databases, Data Warehouses, and BI solutions.

• Development and optimization of ETL/ELT processes (e.g., SSIS or equivalent tools).

• User training on BI solutions and best practices in Data Warehousing.

• Preparation of technical and functional documentation (specifications, manuals, runbooks).

• Supervision of production systems post-implementation: monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

• Analysis of business processes and client requirements.

• Collaboration with existing and potential clients to identify needs and propose appropriate IT solutions.

• Contribution to the overall growth of the company and enhancement of team processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server & Analysis Services (SSAS), Postgres DB.

• Experience with Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools.

• Proven expertise in SQL/RDBMS topics: performance tuning (indexes, execution plans), partitioning, data warehousing (star/snowflake), backup & server maintenance.

• Solid understanding of OLAP/cube architecture and normalization.

• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English (spoken and written).

• Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Targit BI).

• Knowledge of Python or C# for data automation/orchestration.

• Experience drafting technical specifications and participating in RFPs/proposals.

• Collaboration with Sales teams in presales activities, presentations, and RFP processes.

• Participation in client meetings/presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
