As a Tech Lead – SAP Commerce Cloud, oversees all development activities within the product lifecycle, providing technical leadership and mentorship to other developers. Responsible for designing and implementing high-quality solutions aligned with SAP Commerce and Mirakl best practices, particularly for complex, cross-system requirements. Collaborates closely with the Solution Architect on performance improvement initiatives and the architecture of new functionalities. Works in partnership with the DevOps team, Product Manager, and Solution Manager to define business specifications, break them down into actionable backlog items, and estimate sequencing and effort through story points. Additionally, ensures the automation of all manual tasks related to code and data build/deployment processes, supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks.

Lead and Inspire:

• Demonstrate strong leadership for the Development Process

• Leads the Internal and external developers towards synchronized and continiouse development and release processes

• Act as a role model, strive towards adding value and inspire all stakeholders to deliver beyond set objectives (agility & speed).

• Support development team in understanding the complexity and the sequences of the backlog items

• Create a great working environment through positive mind-set and can-do attitude in the project team

• Contribute to establishing a performance and results-oriented culture

• Demonstrate active learning consistently applied technical/functional competence

• Proficiency in SCRUM/Agile project methodologies

Create Partnership for Growth:

• Work proactively with DevOps Team to maintain good relationship and full trust and support environment

• Achieve sustainable results with development delivery quality from Vendors: Code Quality, min bugs, good documentation and smooth transition to support

• Share/transfer knowledge/information/expertise across the team and 3rd party vendors to ensure team members and counterparts are strong experts with sufficient knowledge and understanding on the specific CCH Business Processes and solutions

• Work closely with the Product Managers and Solution Architect to achieve full transparency on solutions complexity and sequence of Sprint delivery.

Innovate for Growth:

• Drive innovation and improvements for solutions, knowledge and ideas to improve the DevOps delivery process.

• Aware of new technologies and solutions in DevOps & Development methodologies

• Contribute to continuous improvements in the solutions implementation approach

• Use innovative approach when handling difficult tasks situations; positive can-do attitude

• Be able to apply different development delivery approaches and management techniques (agile & classical waterfall) ) where appropriate, efficient and as per stakeholder needs (e.g. Design Thinking, User Stories, SCRUM, Scaled Agile Framework etc.).

Manage with Excellence:

• Identify dependencies between initiatives within Commercial area.

• Act as a Senior Developer in the most complex Development tasks and lead by example

• Collect input and recomendation from vendors, in order to further improve the overal development delivery process towards continiouse delivery model

• Identify risks (time risks, resource risks, interdependancies, etc.) and manage the risk mitigation actions in the area of responsibility

o Identify cross-program dependencies & conflicts

o Agree action plans to capture opportunities and to remove conflicts and blockers.

• Ensure compliance with ICF, ITGC and internal policies

Deliver Sustainability Growth:

• Responsible to deliver the Sprints as per the DevOps process on time in scope.

• Ensure that the Test Automation process is adjusted if required with the new changes

• Contribute to the activation of successful support process

• Responsible for Release & Package scope alignment together with Product Manager, Product Owner and Solution Architect

• Ensure and monitor development service performance

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• University Degree in a relevant area

• 7+ years of IT Experience in the development of customer systems across multiple technology domains.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading development teams

• Strong skill base in front and backend open web development technologies including:

o Designing, building and testing Java applications

o Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris)

o Experience in Spring framework, JSP, JSTL and other J2EE related technologies

o (Optional) Experience in Integrations with eMarketplaces (i.e.: Mirakl)

• Strong concepts & knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns are a must.

• Strong quality-based ethic including testing and deployment practices.

• Ability to analyze and critically assess problems.

• Ability to see the big picture as well as giving attention to the smallest detail.

• FMCG Commercial business process awareness will be considered as an advantage

• Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• English proficiency
