platform engineering technical lead

As a Platform Engineering Technical Lead you will be leading the technical delivery of our platform engineering initiatives, enabling scalable, secure, and efficient product development through reusable tools, automation, and self-service. This role is enabling our product teams to build, test, and deploy software faster, more securely, and with higher confidence. 

The Technical Lead will oversee the development and lifecycle of platform products such as CI/CD templates, internal developer portals, automated infrastructure, and cloud-native tools — ensuring they are reliable, scalable, easy to consume and fully adopted, and will collaborate closely with engineering, developers community, security team, enterprise architects and product stakeholders build foundational capabilities that accelerate software delivery across the organization. 

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evolve of internal platform products: Drive architecture and delivery of CI/CD pipelines, golden paths, IDP, and cloud-native tooling to support modern software development practices. 

• Champion DevSecOps best practices: Embed security, quality, and compliance by design into platform capabilities, ensuring robust integration with product pipelines. Assessing their maturity and monitor their compliancy to company standards & guidelines. 

• Enable engineering productivity through automation: Identify friction in the SDLC and implement solutions that reduce cognitive load and manual work for development teams. 

• Mentor and grow a high-performing team: Support and guide engineers by providing technical direction, pairing on complex problems, and fostering a culture of learning and excellence. 

• Collaborate with product and development teams: Understand their needs and pain points to inform the roadmap, adoption strategy, and continuous improvement of platform offerings. 

• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards: Work closely with architects, security, and governance stakeholders to ensure compliance and standardization without compromising agility. 

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform roles. 

• 2-3 years of hands-on leadership experience, preferably in platform engineering. 

• Expertise in CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps or similar (GitHub Actions, etc), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep), and cloud platforms (Azure, Optional : AWS , GCP). 

• Proven ability to design and scale internal platforms and enable teams via developer self-service. 

• Strong knowledge of software lifecycle management. 

• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence & work with other technical leads, architects, and business teams. 

• Excellent spoken and written English
