The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for Finance & BSO is responsible for enhancing the reliability, performance, and scalability of customer-facing applications. This role emphasizes proactive incident analysis, automation, observability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. As an SRE, you will work closely with product team, architects, and support teams to implement best practices in operational excellence, automation, and incident management within a complex, multi-cloud environment.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proactive Incident Analysis & Operational Improvements:
o Analyze incident patterns and trends to gain insights into recurring issues, collaborating with product teams to drive their resolution.
o Proactively manage alerts, identify potential problems, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and performance.
o Collaborate with product teams to prioritize operational user stories focused on reliability and performance improvements.
o Document operational workflows and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.
• Complex Troubleshooting & Problem Management:
o Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with third and manufacturer partners, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
o Participate in crisis management and response, including on-call rotations, to address critical incidents impacting the Logistics & Route To Market .
• Automation for Efficiency:
o Identify automation opportunities across operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
o Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate automated security enhancements into the portal's operations and infrastructure.
• Observability and Monitoring:
o Use insights from observability tools to optimize incident resolution times, improve application performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with architects, , and engineering teams to improve product stability and reduce incidents through proactive solutions. Propose ideas on solution designs and architectures that help improve application reliability or process simplification
o Engage with the Central SRE team, SIAM (Service & Integration Management) manager, and the SRE Community of Practice to share best practices and leverage synergies.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution),and FICO (Finance and Controlling)
• Proficiency in MM (Materials Management)– Supporting end-to-end distribution workflows.
• Experience in SAP DSD (to be LMD) configuration – Setting up pricing, order management, and last-mile delivery workflows. Knowledge of route optimization, delivery tracking, mobile sales and proof of delivery (ePOD). solutions implemented together with S/4, meaning integrating documents in different systems (images, files, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incidents.
• Ability to design and implement business rules in SAP LMD – Customizing based on operational needs.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to LMD – Enhancing user experience and process efficiency.
• Understanding of master data management in SAP – Handling customer, material, and vendor data for seamless integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications in SAP or relevant domain application (e.g.,
• Understanding technology stacks, like web and mobile applications,
• Experience in automation or scripting for operational efficiency and incident response.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with Safe Agile certification strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP API management & middleware
• Experience working with logistics providers – Handling real-world LMD challenges in different EMEA geographies.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements – Understanding country-specific delivery constraints.
• Understanding of Electronic Document and exchange flow, also between Governmental portals (SAP eDocuments)
• Experience in IDOCs, BAPIs, and Web Services – Managing data exchange between SAP modules and external systems. Basic ABAP debugging skills – Ability to analyze and troubleshoot configuration issues.
• Strong understanding of Billing and Invoicing and especially so-called Route Settlement as per process in the Coca-Cola system or comparative beverage businesses, is a major advantage.
