The Distribution Lead is responsible for executing BU Logistics and Distribution strategy , ensuring the agreed service levels. Additionally, the role manages a network of 3PL Transportation Companies, logistics providers and other cross-functional processes as needed while improving customer service at optimal cost and ensuring H&S rules, in compliance with the laws in force and according to internal standards. The role is also accountable for managing and developing his/her team while building strong relationships with key internal customers & external stakeholders.

- I have excellent knowledge of Logistics operations and understanding of Distribution models
- I have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- I am highly energetic, enthusiastic with drive for results
- I have excellent planning and organizing skills
- I have analysis & synthesis skills and strong financial acumen
- I have the ability to manage risks within complex operations and face conflict management situations
Qualifiers:
- Holds a University Degree with related professional qualification. A Master’s degree in Logistics or an MBA will be considered an asset
- Ability to use computer system SAP
- English language - strong writing and speaking ability
- Good Knowledge of MS Office
- Work experience: At least 2 years of work in a relevant position in logistics
- Teamwork mentality
- IT Literacy
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for 3PL management
- Develops & manages operational budgets according to business needs
- Regional synergies & opportunities leveraged
- Manages standard KBIs reporting regularly
- Improved responsiveness to customer needs, improved customer service & speed in countries
- Establishes and implements reliable distribution processes & system to meet customer service expectations and cost performance
- Health & Safety indicators improved versus PY
- Improve efficiency of distribution processes. Create a performance management culture
- Logistics strategy in the area of distribution is communicated to employees & executed at optimal cost & customer service
- Employee Engagement improved versus PY in BU in transportation, contributing to deliver overall SC strategy and commitment
- Develops the team and ensures that the talent pipeline improves every year
- Relationship with BU Customer Logistics Manager , Transportation Lead, Warehouse Managers, BU Logistics Manager, developed and maintained
- Standard processes (Lean Logistics) & Best practices from BUs introduced
- Identifies opportunities to optimize distribution network
- Improve customer service with internal customers
- Improve usage of Movilizer devices leading to better visibility of Distribution services
