We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT SRE Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Digital Channels domain.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring stability, reliability and optimal performance of our critical applications, services and infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing support and resolution for arising issues, utilizing your expertise in K8s μServices area, Weblogic and Cloud technologies. The role also encompasses contributions to Release and Patch management processes, as well as the implementation of monitoring solutions and self-healing automation mechanisms.
Duties & responsibilities
Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for Digital Channels applications within the scope of Incident and Events Management. Actively participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to mitigate issues recurrence.
Leverage your experience in K8s μServices support and WebLogic technologies to effectively manage and maintain the organization’s application, services and infrastructure.
Design, develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions (Business Service Monitoring, Application & Infrastructure Performance Management).
Develop and implement self-healing mechanisms and automations to proactively detect and resolve potential incidents.
Automate Release and Patch management processes to facilitate seamless and efficient deployments of application updates and enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, enhance reliability and implement best practices
Participate in on-call rotations and provide standby support to address critical incidents promptly.
Required skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Proven experience in IT SRE or OpsDev roles, preferably within the Digital Channels domain.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s), WebLogic and Cloud technologies with understanding of applications infrastructure will be considered as an asset
Familiar with Linux/Unix operating systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure etc).
Familiar with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab etc.).
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, OBM or similar platforms is advantageous
Familiarity with SQL and database operations
Understanding of Release Management and Patch Management methodologies and processes.
Knowledge of self-healing mechanisms and proactive monitoring strategies for improving system resilience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams.
