We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our ICT team for EU Institutions and International Organizations.
If you are highly self-motivated, methodical, business minded and have a drive to increase business we want to hear from you.
As a (Senior) Sales Specialist you will focus on improving and growing ICT business, by developing business, driving sales activities to achieve targets, and manage clientele.
Main Responsibilities
Develop business with existing and new customers focusing on ICT solutions and services that will fulfill their needs and lead their digital transformation.
Participate actively in value proposition, solution development, partner identification and risk management taking into consideration the commercial strategy.
Lead the preparation of the financial offers ensuring that cost elements, risks and profitability targets are met.
Drive the negotiations with the clients and the main partners and suppliers
Collaborate with internal working groups (presales, delivery, procurement, recruiting, legal) to analyse and design optimal ICT solutions to address clients’ requirements
Assess the risks and opportunities of future projects based on the stakeholders’ inputs, challenge and validate the way these risks will be mitigated
Required Skills
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or relevant field;
More than two (2) years of experience in Sales and Business Development, or more than (4) years for Senior candidates
Experience with procurement procedures and processes of EU Institutions, International Organizations, or Public Institutions is a strong plus
Broad network of partners and knowledge of the EU market is a strong plus
Knowledge of the IT market and strong understanding of major IT Technology trends (Cloud, Cybersecurity, AI)
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
Ability to establish relationships of trust and to negotiate with clients and partners
Ability to lead and work effectively in a virtual team environment
Ability to prioritize and manage time productively
Fluency in English and the ability to address an international audience
Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus
