ict security engineer

As a member of a team of experienced cybersecurity engineers the candidate will focus on implementing and supporting Cyber security solutions and services.

Duties & responsibilities

• Implementation of cyber security services and solutions (on-prem and cloud) such as WAF / SIEM / DDoS Protection / Vulnerability Management / EDR / Cloud Security / PAM

• Monitoring the availability and support of all ICT security systems and services

• Designs, both technically and operationally of the Group's ICT security solutions.

• Define security requirements in projects and infrastructure; identify security gaps and proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks

• Provide secure design, implementation, and testing standards tailored to specific technical platforms and projects

• Complete assigned projects and tasks on an as-needed basis

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications or a related field

• In-depth hands-on experience with IT systems and integrations in physical, virtual, and cloud environments, including Linux/Unix, Windows Server, VMware, and/or Hyper-V technologies

• Technical knowledge and understanding of all infrastructure layers (Operating System, Database, Application, Networking)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• A consultant mindset with a strong commitment to teamwork, and having customer experience as top priority

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Cybersecurity

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, CRTP, CRTE, or equivalent will be considered as an asset

• Specialization or experience in cloud security

• Hands-on experience as a Security Engineer

• Experience working with SIEM tools

• Technical knowledge or hands-on experience on Cloud security

• Solid understanding of network topologies and access control reviews
