devops engineer

You will play a pivotal role in streamlining our application delivery process through CI/CD automation. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a secure, efficient CI/CD pipeline using industry-leading tools like Jenkins, Nexus, and Ansible. You'll also champion a "shift left" security mindset, working closely with developers to ensure quality and security are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating application builds, tests, and deployments using tools like Jenkins and Ansible. 
• Integrate security best practices and tools (e.g., SonarQube) into the CI/CD pipeline to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the development process. 
• Foster a collaborative DevOps culture by working closely with developers to understand their needs and integrate automation effectively. 
• Automate middleware deployment and configuration management using tools like Ansible. • 
• Champion operational stability and resilience by implementing monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery solutions. 
• Utilize strong scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred) to develop and maintain automation scripts. 
• Work effectively in an Agile development environment using Git version control (e.g., GitHub) for code management. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in DevOps tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. 
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies (Agile, GitOps, etc.). 
• Experience integrating security tools (SAST, DAST) into the CI/CD pipeline. 
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible. 
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. 
• Experience working with Azure cloud platform is a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
