Job Objective:



Plans and assists in the accurate execution of external and internal compliance audits, develops the necessary reports, updates

the respective records, in order to conform to legislation and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:



1. Administration of Audits and Inspections:

- Follows-up and keeps record of the vessels’ audit schedule execution, and timely reminds/informs accordingly all respective parts, enabling them to proceed to the appropriate preparation and preliminary actions for the accurate execution of the audits.

- Supports the day-to-day operation of the LPSQ department, by monitoring the availability and readiness of the

technical infrastructure.

- Prepares, files and/or dispatches all necessary departmental documents, reports and statistics towards the respective recipients.

2. Implementation of corrective actions:

- Assists the LPSQ Manager and superintendents in following-up the prompt and accurate implementation of agreed corrective actions occurred from audits.

- Assists in compiling and analysing data as well as in data entry, record keeping and following up of several key

measures concerning LPSQ procedures and activities.

- Answers incoming calls and provides information concerning the LPSQ activities.

3.Reporting and support:

- Contributes in the accurate and timely development and update of records, reports and systems, regarding the findings of internal and external audits.

- Supports LPSQ superintendents during incident investigations.



Requirements

Education and Qualifications:


▪ Bachelor degree, Completed professional apprenticeship or Certificate in Maritime relevant studies


Work Experience:


▪ 3 years’ experience in office administration


Job-Specific Skills:


▪ Familiarity with vessels’ technical operations

▪ Good knowledge of the ISM, ISPS, ISO guidelines/ requirements

▪ Good knowledge maritime law/ procedures

▪ Organisational skills

▪ Communication skills

▪ Fluency in English

▪ Very good knowledge of the SMC’s national language

▪ PC literacy
