trade marketing professional

Barilla Hellas wants to recruit a Trade Marketing Professional within the Trade Marketing department. The individual will report to the Trade Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development & implementation of trade marketing activities, building on shopper insights to deliver business growth.

Key Accountabilities

• Category Value Development

o Successfully transform marketing initiatives into category development plans & present to customers as business development opportunities

• Promotional planning & coordination

o Work together with sales teams to effectively manage promotional activation at customer & POS level

• Promotional activities evaluation
•  Business reviews in collaboration with sales teams

o Present business evolution & category development plans to influence/gain customer commitment to execution

• Market share analysis

o Monitor of market evolution, identify sales opportunities, extract & develop argumentation to support category/subcategory plans

• Assortment priorities & Merchandising standards definition

o Analysis of assortment opportunities per customer, identify & quantify business opportunities

• Shopper research coordination

o Understanding of shopper research quantified results & incorporate them into business development planning

• Category initiatives presentation to sales teams
• Understanding of category management/planogram
• Volume target estimations/forecast at product/customer level

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Trade Marketing/Marketing or Sales function (preferably in FMCG)
• Master Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Marketing Studies
• IT literate (MS Office), experience in SAP would be a plus
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strategic vision, ability to manage complex and multiple tasks
• Project management skills, “can do” attitude and strive for excellence mindset
• Strong communication & influencing skills
• Fluency in Greek & Business English

Important Information

• The role is based in our Athens office, Greece. We offer hybrid working as a mix of working remotely and from the office.
• The expected starting date is July 2025.
