commercial finance analyst

The Commercial Finance Analyst for Greece, Cyprus and Malta will be responsible for partnering with commercial teams providing meaningful financial analysis and reporting. Working closely with the Bacardi Greece Lead team you will be able to influence and drive data-based decision making while ensure compliance and robust controls.

Responsibilities

•    Partner with Country Manager and Sales Executives to provide strong financial insights across the value chain

•    Work closely with distributor partners ensuring mutual value creation & governance

•    Assist the business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the full P&L

•    Lead the monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting

•    Provide financial recommendations to commercial teams via Revenue Growth Management initiatives and Trade Investment analysis

•    Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and generate insights to support informed decision-making

•    Safeguard the accuracy in financial accounting and reporting, while ensuring SOX compliance

•    Assert financial controls to drive financial stewardship

•    Oversee flow of invoices and perform monthly reconciliations 

•    Be the key finance resource for the Greek legal entity (liaising with our global shared services, Tax, Treasury and Legal functions as well as external service providers)

Skills

•    BS in Finance, Accounting, Business (or equivalent). 

•    Strong track record of performance and delivery within Finance ideally within a multinational corporation for at least 2 to 4 years

•    Experience of managing a P&L and financial reporting 

•    Knowledge of Greece Accounting Standards - GAAP

•    Advanced expertise in MS Office and proficiency in MS Excel as well as knowledge of Power BI

•    Strong communication skills to explain complex topics simply

•    Proven ability to work seamlessly with multifunctional teams and influence decision making

•    Fluency in Greek and English
