production shift supervisor

As Production Shift Supervisor, you will be a member of the Production team, ensuring the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the predefined time and quality requirements.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

Acts in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:

• Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift

• Contribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them

• Ensure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures

• Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts

• Ensure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs)

• Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs

• Collaborate with other department's supervisors and manage his/her team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement etc.) 

• To check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under their supervision, in accordance with company ‘s policy and prescribed procedures

Qualifications

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

• 2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting

• Ability to work in 3 shifts
