We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Daily Execution) to join the Shavers Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring fast and safe recovery of equipment during breakdowns and maintaining stable, reliable operation of production machinery.
The role focuses on troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and restoration of electrical, automation, and control systems, while also supporting production changeovers and continuous improvement activities.
The position operates on a 3-shift rotating schedule (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting of equipment failures: Diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation, automation, PLC, drive, sensor, and control system faults to restore production quickly
Safety-focused maintenance: Apply electrical safety procedures (LOTO, isolation, verification) and ensure equipment is safe before restart
Support production operations: Assist with changeovers, equipment setup, parameter verification, sensor checks, and machine adjustments to maintain product quality
Documentation and reporting: Record maintenance activities, diagnostics, root-cause observations, measurements, and recommendations in the CMMS system, and ensure accurate shift handovers
Continuous improvement: Identify recurring issues, propose reliability and efficiency improvements, support root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering and automation teams on equipment enhancements
Technical execution: Work with motors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, electrical drawings, instrumentation, and test equipment
Team collaboration: Work closely with production teams and escalate complex issues to Automation Engineers, supporting commissioning and stabilization activities
Qualifications
Technical Institute diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Valid electrical certification/license where applicable
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and industrial maintenance practices
Skills & Competencies
Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
Knowledge of PLC, HMI, drives, sensors, and industrial networks
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance processes
Good CMMS documentation and reporting skills
Strong understanding of machine safety systems and LOTO procedures
Ability to work effectively under pressure in shift-based operations
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Proactive mindset focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement
