As Cosmetic Products Engineer, you will be a part of the development team and will support all projects for local and global developments within CoreTech Cosmetics team. This position is very crucial for creating new cosmetic products and for securing the existing formulas.
What you’ll do:
- Investigate raw materials and technologies for the development of new formulas to achieve different claims, supporting programs and research projects for Blade Excellence and BBT.
- Prepare the lab, pilot and industrial batches for formulas scale-up process, prepare samples for all needed tests and stability studies to ensure final products safety and efficiency.
- Gather all data, perform data analysis and prepare reports to facilitate decision making.
- Evaluate all samples from shaving tests to carefully monitor products integrity after use.
- Lead preliminary cost investigation of proposed new formulas as well as documents gathering to ensure preliminary regulatory and safety compliance of the new proposals.
- Propose external & internal process improvements for existing products and participate in value engineering projects.
- Participate in incubator campaigns through ideas uploading with the target to create new business opportunities and provide innovative solutions.
- Participate in projects with the potential to lead specific tasks.
- Develop new methods and the investigation of new equipment for the analysis of existing cosmetic formulas to provide speed and reliability of everyday measurements & calibrations
- Lead equipment maintenance program
What you bring to BIC:
- Cosmetic Science/Chemistry/Pharmaceutical/Biology Degree
- 3+ years of experience in a Lab of cosmetic products, knowing process of development, stability studies of developed formulations
- Able to work cross-functionally communicating with the teams internally (production) in BIC & collaborate with external partners (tests to develop formulas)
- Leadership skills (project leading)
- Able to communicate/deliver knowledge to other teams, help to understand the processes
- Able to develop analytical methods with existing or new tools
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint knowledge; basic statistical analysis skills
- English - fluent level
- Able to prioritize, be multitasking, work with a few projects simultaneously
