As a Technical Support Intern, you will assist with help desk calls, scheduling, and Jira tickets. You will support the maintenance of hardware, software, and other systems, ensuring IT standards are upheld for both user and technical documentation. You will also provide 1st level technical support and troubleshooting, assist in testing new functionalities, and direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
The role reports to the Team Lead of Technical Support and the Head of the Applications & Users Support Department.
Key Accountabilities
- Install, configure, operate, and support servers and applications (maintenance, upgrades, patches) in a Microsoft-based environment.
- Provide 1st level technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain hardware, software, and other systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle help desk calls, scheduling, and manage Jira tickets to streamline operations.
- Install and configure software and functions according to specifications.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure IT standards are upheld for both user and technical documentation.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Offer basic end-user support to prevent delays in customer service.
- Test new functionalities to ensure they meet requirements.
- Report customer feedback and potential product requests to improve services.
Knowledge and experience
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Informatics, or another relevant field.
- Good technical skills and aptitude to learn advanced technologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, proactive, and a team player.

- Willingness to take on responsibility and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Proactive and constructive in collaborating with team members.
- Good writing and communication skills in both Greek and English.
