Maran Tankers Management Inc., one of the world’s leading tanker operators and part of the Angelicoussis Group, is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the position of Crew Operator due to the expansion of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures officers and crew qualifications (including all necessary licenses and certificates as required by Flag State/STCW);
• Extends the due diligence for selecting competent and experienced officers and crew in collaboration with the Crew Manager;
• Checking of Manning Levels in relation to the Safe Manning Certificate & Safety Equipment Certificate of each vessel, ensuring compliance at all times;
• Maintains an updated copy of the vessels’ crew list at all times;
• Supervises and acts as liaison with the company's appointed Crew Managers;
• Liaises with Port Agents and Crew Managers for the dispatch of the crew to/ from vessels;
• May correspond with vessel Flag Administrations for crew-relevant matters;

Candidate must have:

• University degree in Maritime Studies or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a reputable Tanker Company
• Fluency in the English Language (written and oral)
• Excellent communication skills
• Literacy in MS Office suite
