RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Front Office Management team, the candidate will oversee the daily operations of the watersports department, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience for guests. This role involves supervising a team, maintaining equipment, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Operations & Guest Experience

• Supervise and coordinate all watersports activities and other recreational water-based experiences.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing professional guidance, personalized services, and recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust activities accordingly for safety and optimal enjoyment.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate the watersports team to uphold Amanzoe’s service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all watersports activities.
• Conduct regular briefings to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local maritime regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments of all equipment and activities.
• Train staff in emergency procedures, first aid, and water rescue techniques.
• Ensure all guests are briefed on safety instructions before participating in activities.

Equipment Maintenance & Administration

• Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper storage of all watersports equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and incidents.
• Assist in budgeting and procurement for the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

About the Successful Candidate

• Previous Experience: Minimum 3 years in a watersports supervisory or instructor role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Certifications: Valid lifeguard certification, first aid & CPR, powerboat license mandatory
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest engagement skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages (Greek, French, etc.) are a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to swim confidently and perform rescues if necessary.

This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
