We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastry Commis Chef who embodies Aman’s values of creativity, refinement and exceptional service to join Amanzoe, in the Peloponnese, Greece. Reporting to the Pastry Chef, the Pastry Commis Chef plays an essential role in supporting the preparation of daily breads, pastries and dessert components. This hands-on position requires enthusiasm, precision and a genuine passion for pastry work, contributing to outstanding culinary experiences across the resort.
Responsibilities
Assist with the daily preparation of breads, pastries and dessert items in accordance with Aman standards.
Execute assigned pastry tasks with accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and readiness within the pastry section at all times.
Follow food safety, hygiene and storage protocols meticulously.
Support the creation and presentation of refined pastry items for all dining areas.
Collaborate closely with the pastry and broader culinary team.
Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure proper handling and storage.
Contribute to an efficient and harmonious working environment.
Requirements
A degree in Culinary Arts from a recognised institution in Greece or abroad.
1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants is considered an asset.
Fluency in English is desirable.
Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
A creative, detail-oriented and collaborative mindset aligned with Aman values.
Passion for pastry and a desire to develop skills continuously.
You must have the legal right to work in Greece.
