fitness manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Fitness Manager to join our team at Amanzoe in Greece. Reporting to the Wellness Manager, you will oversee the full operation of our fitness and wellness facilities, including the fitness centre, yoga pavilion, tennis areas, and outdoor activity programmes. You will lead a team of fitness professionals and ensure that all offerings reflect Amanzoe’s standards of luxury, wellness, and exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the fitness and wellness areas to ensure a world-class guest experience.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of fitness instructors and personal trainers.

• Manage and develop fitness programmes, personal training services, and wellness-related activities.

• Maintain all fitness facilities and equipment to the highest standards of safety and presentation.

• Coordinate with the Spa, Wellness, and Food and Beverage teams to enhance holistic guest experiences.

• Provide consultations and personalised programmes for guests when required.

• Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative wellness offerings.

• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.

• Manage scheduling, daily operations, and administrative tasks efficiently.

• Support revenue growth through well-designed fitness and wellness programmes.

Requirements

• Current certification in fitness or wellness specialisations such as Yoga, Pilates, Wellness Coaching, or Personal Training.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fitness management or a senior fitness role in a luxury hospitality or wellness environment.

• Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Strong knowledge of fitness trends, health and wellness programming, and luxury guest service standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience in sales or marketing within fitness or wellness operations is an advantage.

• Interest in holistic health, wellness, and nutrition.

• Medical knowledge or previous related experience is considered an advantage.

• Legal right to live and work in Greece is required.
