systems engineering specialist

As a Systems Engineering Specialist you will be placed in the IT Infrastracture & Operations Division and you will be responsible for planning, organizing and registering the Bank’s IT Assets (information systems, infrastructure components and services) in the Bank’s Central Registry Database through the change process management. You will ensure the availability and integrity of the Central Registry Database information and will support the IT Service Management processes. 

What you will be doing

•    Configure and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
•    Create new or support existing KPIs.
•    Interact with other members of the team to provide end-to-end service monitoring and support.
•    Follow up vendor tickets and implement the suggested workarounds when required.
•    Provide reports using BI Tools.
•    Contribute towards a continuous service improvement culture, while providing targeted education and coaching on service measuring and improvement methodologies.

What you need to have

•    A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or any other relevant technical-oriented field
•    At least one (1) year of experience in IT department
•    Good understanding of the capabilities of new technologies.
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
•    High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and ability to perform under pressure.
•    ITIL certifications will be considered a plus.
•    Experience in CMDB/uCMDB knowledge will be considered a plus.
