systems engineer

As a Systems Engineer you will be placed in the Bank’s IT Infrastructure & Operations and you will be responsible for administering Microsoft Servers. The position will also assist in setting up, configuring, administering and recovering systems effectively and efficiently, communicating with team members and business stakeholders, and meeting very strict SLA’s. This position will also participate in Windows Clustering design and have the responsibility for implementing any configuration.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team environment.

What you will be doing

• Keep the systems up to date regarding any security, vulnerability and risk framework of the organization.

• Monitor the performance and availability of the systems and perform capacity planning.

• Interacts with other team members and cross-IT staff on support and project activitie

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other relevant technical-oriented field.

• At least three (3) years of relevant experience as a System administrator.

• Excellent skills in MS Windows Server operating systems, scripting and system automation (PowerShell etc.).

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to senior level technical staff, engineers or vendors during troubleshooting or escalations.

• Experience in Microsoft Windows Systems Administration and Microsoft IIS.

• Experience in DevOps Essentials.
