senior functional analyst

As a Senior Functional Engineer, you will be joining of IT Digital Services & Data Analytics Business Area of Alpha Bank S.A. and you will be responsible for acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, with a strong presence in the analysis, configuration, and delivery phases of Workflow and Automation initiatives.

What you will be doing

• Analyse and translate Business Requirements into Functional Specifications and Solution Designs 

• Collaborate closely with Architects, Developers and Business stakeholders to design efficient, scalable automation Workflows

• Create and maintain Documentation such as Functional Specifications, Process Diagrams, Test Cases and User Guides

• Work closely with Project Managers to estimate effort, define scope, and monitor project deliverables

• Coordinate with Test Engineers during SIT/UAT phases to ensure test coverage, resolve defects and align deliverables with business expectations

• Propose enhancements to existing processes and identify automation opportunities

What you need to have

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business

• A Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) is a plus

• At least 4 years of experience in similar roles, ideally within IT departments of financial institutions or large enterprises

• Exposure to Workflow/BPM or Document Management platforms will be considered a plus

• Strong analytical, documentation and presentation skills, with ability to understand both business and technical perspectives

• Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
